Explore Fresno Discovery Center
Conveniently located near the airport, Fresno Discovery Center offers a place for all ages to explore and discover in a welcoming park setting. Admission includes access to both our indoor Science Center and our 5.5-acre outdoor grounds.
Inside, hands-on exhibits encourage curiosity and learning through play. Outdoors, families can enjoy:
- Walden Pond with turtles, crawdads, and fish
- Interactive exhibits and live animals
- Play areas and picnic tables
- The historic Deutsch Cactus Garden
- The Garden of the Sun, tended by the Master Gardeners

Advance tickets are not required.

Special: First Saturday of every month is only $3 admission for non-members.

Getting Here
Fresno Discovery Center is easy to find!
We’re located just southwest of Fresno Yosemite International Airport, between Clinton and McKinley Avenues on Winery Avenue, just north of Highway 180.
From Highway 41 & Highway 99:
Take Highway 41 or Highway 99 to Highway 180 East. Exit at Chestnut Avenue and head north. Turn right on McKinley Avenue, then left on Winery Avenue. Fresno Discovery Center will be on your right.
Parking:
Free parking is available along Winery Avenue, with ADA-accessible spaces close to the entrance.
Public Transit:
Take a FAX bus to the Clinton & Winery Ave area, just a short walk from Fresno Discovery Center. For the most accurate routes and schedules, use the FAX trip planner or your phone’s maps app for real-time directions.
