Interested In Volunteering?
You are in the right place! We are looking for enthusiastic adult volunteers to help in a number of ways. Would you like to be a docent and engage our visitors with fun exhibits or activities, to further expand their knowledge (and yours!) in a way that's fun and interactive? Maybe you have clerical skills you'd like to share, or perhaps you're an animal guru that would love to hang with the snakes!
Become a volunteer and play an important role at the Fresno Discovery Center. FDC volunteers provide the Museum with vital support by leading docent tours, staffing special events, and working behind the scenes in in a variety of departments throughout the Museum. Hours are flexible, and orientation and training are provided.

There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer at FDC, including:
Special Events: Be a greeter during public programs including openings, talks, and panels throughout the year, welcoming guests, setting up, taking down, and serving refreshments.
Museum Guide Program: FDC seeks volunteer Museum guides to deliver high-quality, inquiry-based tours for the Museum’s diverse audiences and communities, including K–12 students, higher-education learners, and adults. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
Public Programs: We are always looking for fun, energetic people to help our instructors with our public programs!
To get started, just fill out the form below and you'll soon be on your way!
